Supplier Information - DaVita

DaVita suppliers have a duty to understand and comply with all laws and regulations applicable to their business interactions and relationships with DaVita. In addition, DaVita expects its suppliers to comply with all policies and procedures contained on this website as well as any other DaVita policies that may be supplied during the course of the business relationship. Adherence to all laws and regulations, policies and procedures, and the DaVita Code of Conduct is critical to the continuation of a business relationship.

Compliance with these policies and procedures is reviewed on an ongoing basis, and instances of behavior inconsistent with these supplier policies may result in DaVita terminating a relationship with a supplier.

Code of Conduct: Service Excellence with Integrity

DaVita is committed to a strict observance of business ethics, integrity, and compliance with all laws and regulations governing our business operations.

In order to further DaVita’s commitment to these legal and ethical standards and establish an environment that promotes legal and ethical behavior, DaVita maintains a Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct clearly defines DaVita’s values and expectations for every DaVita teammate, including interactions with vendors. DaVita places the utmost importance on the observance of these principles.

DaVita expects all vendors to review and uphold the values and expectations in the Code of Conduct.

The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005

The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (DRA), requires DaVita to maintain policies and procedures for its teammates and contractors providing information on detecting and preventing fraud, waste and abuse and whistleblower protections. DaVita makes these policies, procedures, and information available to vendors through this website or upon request.

DaVita expects all vendors to review and abide by the policies and procedures contained on this website, including notifying DaVita of any fraudulent and/or abusive business practices of which you may be aware. DaVita prohibits retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, seeks to report abusive or fraudulent practices.

Additional Vendor Policies

In addition to the Code of Conduct, DaVita expects all vendors to comply with other applicable policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, the Vendor Relationships policy. To obtain approval to provide training to DaVita teammates and/or patients, all Vendors must complete this request form and submit to the Clinical VSP Oversight Committee:, at least one month prior to the proposed event, and include all relevant educational training materials.
